01_IViG Structures
Inspired by my dads disorder in Guillain Barre Syndrome i made 2x4 in. boxes that are "reconstructed" with string to mimic the regeneration IviG gives to the nerves in a human body.
IViG structures is about reconstruction and different iterations to show endless capabilities in architecture.

02_IViG Structures
Both iterations show the stability the string provides the boxes and how they prove my idea of reconstruction and repetition in architecture and how like in GBS it brings damaged or separated "nerves" to make something new and firm.
03_Leaf Rust
Inspired by an aging maple leaf and ancient ruins, i studied the aging process and deterioration of them and how they form these characteristics and significance over time. I then interpreted it to architecture.
04_Leaf Rust
Illustrative Concept
Leaf Model made of metal shingles
05_Elevation
Inspired by a Charles Baudelaire poem, i composed a painting of my interpretation.
I sectioned out each feeling, characteristic and word that personified emotion to me in any sort of way so it may align with my final interpretation.
06_Elevation
The mountains, grounded or elevated characterize the heavy expansion the mind carries in its effort to stay in the real world.
The webs attached to the huts explain the attachment of the consciousness to reality the poem offers to the reader
The huts show the consciousness being attached to reality and how some drift apart and some are together, they personify ones train of thought.
07_2D Shape Analysis/Value Study
This collage was made to show my understanding in line weight, shading and different elements of light.
Inspired by my family visit to Mexico, i composed this collage from a church in my families town, the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico city, and a small snack i had at the ranch.
08_Villa Tugendhat
A Two Point Perspective drawing of the Villa Tugendhat done by me on the left side and a SouthEast Oblique of the Villa on the right.
09_Villa Tugendhat
A section drawing of the Villa Tugendhat on the left, and a full Location drawing of the Villa on the right, composed of sections, elevations and floor plans.
10_Energy&Mood
Inspired by the behavior and mood certain architecture give me, I came up with the idea of relating famous architecture by itself and with others to show contrast and comparrison.
Each color characterizes a different mood to give the architecture life in different minds.
These colors also bring out a sense of “aura” or “energy” to the architecture and its surroundings in order to give life to it or give life to the things around it.
11_Energy&Mood
The Einstein Tower is Germnay to me brings out these characteristics of seriousness but such elegant mystery as well.
These buildings bring out in unision these characteristics of creativity, passion and a happy melancholia, where you feel your most creative.
In this example, each building relates to each other, so the “energy” exerted compliments itself.
12_Sujood Collage
Inspired by my religion/faith and the peace that it has brought me, i came up with this project to show how it relates to architecture in the sense of symmetry and orientation
In this collage, i illustrate the form of postration known as sujood to show how it brings me closer to Allah and to show the things around it.
13_Sujood Collage
I used lines of symmetry in some sections to show the straightforward path and symmetry in islam and in islamic architecture.
The blank section above the arch (mihrab) is usually covered in an arabic phrase, but i left it blank so i may later go back to it with a personal meaning.
